On the skin

Apply Epimax® Ointment to the affected skin area and smooth gently onto the skin in the direction of the hair growth

As a skin cleanser

You can use Epimax® Ointment as a skin cleanser without losing additional skin moisture.

Scoop a small amount from the tub, lather under warm water and then use as you would for a normal soap.

In the bath

Soaking in the bath can dry your skin. Adding Epimax® Ointment to the bath can prevent the skin from drying by creating a thin film over the skin, preventing moisture loss.

To use in the bath, take 4g (about the size of a £2 coin) from the tub. Melt this in a tumbler of hot water, ensuring it has cooled sufficiently before adding to the bath.

Do not apply hot water directly to the skin. When using Epimax® Ointment as a bath additive, care should be taken, as it will make the surface of the bath slippery.

Epimax® ointment leaves your skin feeling soft and moist, and is gentle on the skin. It is suitable for all age ranges, including babies.

Epimax® Ointment is available in 125g and 500g tubs and can be prescribed by your Dermatologist, Doctor or Nurse Prescriber. It can also be ordered without a prescription from any pharmacy or bought over the counter without prescription.
